Kendall's Kloset
About Us
Founded in 2022 by Kendall-Elise Owens
Kendall's Kloset was founded in 2022 by Kendall-Elise Owens with one simple mission: to help girls and young women feel seen, valued, and empowered.
What began as collecting and distributing new and gently used clothing and personal care items has grown into a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing lives one girl, one woman at a time.
After traveling to Jamaica and other countries, Kendall-Elise realized that the need for support extends far beyond the United States. She expanded her vision to include helping young women both locally and internationally by providing essential resources, encouragement, and hope.
In 2026, Kendall’s Kloset officially became a nonprofit organization committed to serving girls and women from all walks of life through community partnerships, donations, and volunteerism.
One of our signature initiatives is our Luggage with Love Campaign, which provides new and gently used luggage to children and teens in the foster care system. Too often, young people entering foster care are forced to carry their belongings in trash bags, leaving them feeling forgotten and devalued. At Kendall’s Kloset, we believe every child deserves dignity. By replacing trash bags with suitcases, we hope to make each transition a little less stressful and remind every young person that they matter.
Through collaboration with businesses, churches, schools, civic organizations, and community leaders, Kendall’s Kloset strives to provide opportunities, encouragement, and resources that inspire confidence and success.
Our vision is to build lasting partnerships that strengthen families, uplift communities, and empower the next generation of women leaders.
Every donation, every volunteer, and every act of kindness helps us fulfill our mission.
Because we believe…
